Yehoshua (the name of the Hebrew Messiah who died and rose again so we could be saved) said, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…” (Mark 16:16).

Provided below is a listing of confessions and scriptures that you may use to believe in your heart and speak verbally for the purpose of the salvation of your soul!  This is all to occur with the understanding that your belief, confession and repentance is to be followed with water baptism by immersion in the name of Yehoshua the Messiah.

■  “I believe that Yehoshua is the only Son of God who was begotten directly from the Heavenly Father.”

In Luke 1:34-35, the angel tells how Yehoshua is the only Son of God who was begotten directly from the Heavenly Father.  In John 10:36, Yehoshua said Himself that He is the Son of God.

  • “And the angel answered and said unto her (Mary), The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God” (Luke 1:35).

  • “Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?” (John 10:36).

■  “I believe that Yehoshua is God.”

In John 20:28-29, Thomas called Yehoshua “God”, and then Yehoshua affirmed Thomas’ words.

  • “And Thomas answered and said unto Him (Yehoshua), My Lord and my God. Yehoshua saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:28-29).

■  “I believe that Yehoshua is the Messiah who died, shed His blood and rose again the third day to save me from my sins.”

In Matthew 16:15-17, Peter said that Yehoshua was the Messiah, and then Yehoshua affirmed Peter’s words.  In John 4:25-26, Yehoshua said Himself that He was the Messiah.  In Matthew 26:28, Yehoshua said His blood was shed in order to remit sins and save people.

  • “He (Yehoshua) saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the living God.  And Yehoshua answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:15-17).

  • “The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Yehoshua saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he” (John 4:25-26).

  • “For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28).

■  Pray:  “Yehoshua Messiah, Son of the Living God, I now ask You to come into my heart and be my Savior and my Lord!”

Amen!  And now it is time for you to be led to the waters of baptism according to the word of the Messiah!

God has made it known that He does not want His name hid or forgotten.

The Messiah’s name in Hebrew is Yehoshua

The Heavenly Father’s name is Yehouah

“…they… cause My people to forget My name…” (Jeremiah 23:26-27).

“…Surely our fathers have inherited lies…” (Jeremiah 16:19).

“Therefore My people shall know My name…” (Isaiah 52:6).

“…by the name of Yehoshua Messiah of Nazareth… Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:10-12).

“But these are written, that ye might believe that Yehoshua is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through His name” (John 20:31).

“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).

“… And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered…” (Joel 2:30-32).

“(Aaronic blessing) … And they shall put My name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them” (Numbers 6:22-27).

“Him that overcometh… I will write upon him the name of My God, …and I will write upon him My new name” (Revelation 3:12).

“He that believeth on Him (Yehoshua) is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10).
